Here are the rules:

Well this isn't as exciting as I was hoping my 4th picture would be, but hey... at least I tried. So I took this photo at LAX just before we boarded our flight to Australia. It was 14 hours of endless snacks and movies. What more can you ask for when you're a teenager? Anyway, I'd say this was one of my top 3 trips and I can't wait to go back someday.

They're Done!

It may be a month past Christmas, but I finally finished the stockings I made for Brennan and me. I can't wait til next year when I get to hang them by our fireplace. I'm quite impressed with myself. They turned out pretty good.

So we inherited a new toy this month and Brennan's in heaven. Thank you Grandparents!

Building Blocks and Airplanes

I spent Monday afternoon training a new missionary couple at the MTC, so while we were down there we decided to spend the evening at Sam's. It was so much fun playing with the kids and the new puppy. Brennan had fun too. Here's his adventures with blocks. They built a pretty impressive airplane.

First Day of School

Brennan started his second semester at the U this week so we took a moment for "first day of school" pictures. He was thrilled.

Now that we're taking an institute class together, we've worked out a new system for getting to school and work...park at the institute for free, I take trax downtown, and Brennan walks across the street to campus. It's worked out well so far, but it's only been a week.

Things are off to a good start and we're excited for the new semester.

Grand Targhee!!!

Brennan and I spent the week of New Year's with the Rigbys skiing at Grand Targhee. There's nothing like single digit weather, sore muscles, and the greatest powder on Earth. We had such a great time and can't wait until next year.

So I was told numerous times that skiing was only half the "greatness" of Targhee. Seriously... that coming from a Rigby couldn't possibly be correct. Well, they were right once again. It was great how we got to relax, watch fireworks on New Year's Eve, and eat loads a delicious food.

One of the highlights was visiting the yurt. We took a sleigh ride through the forest, were fed an amazing meal, and left happy and content. What more could you ask for? It was great.


But since it was primarily a ski trip, here are some pictures illustrating our week. It was amazing and I loved every minute of it. Enjoy!
